Free Printable Weekly Planner: Download Two A4 PDFs

Need a free printable weekly planner you can understand at a glance? Download either of these two free A4 planners: a complete Monday-to-Sunday week or a roomier Monday-to-Friday version for work and study.

Both designs are year-independent, so you can print a fresh copy whenever you need one. They include fields for your name and week number and are designed for A4 landscape printing.

How to print the planner correctly

  1. Open the PDF you want.
  2. Choose A4 paper and landscape orientation.
  3. Select actual size or 100% scale for the intended margins.
  4. Print one test page before making several copies.

For a reusable planner, place the sheet in a transparent sleeve or laminate it and use a suitable dry-erase pen. Test the pen in a corner first and keep the original PDF for future prints.

Simple ways to use it

  • Write only fixed appointments first.
  • Choose three weekly priorities instead of filling every line.
  • Add meal ideas before writing the shopping list.
  • Use one colour per person in a shared household.
  • Keep one empty line each day for the unexpected.
  • Review the coming week at the same time every Sunday or Monday.

Weekly planner or digital calendar?

You do not have to choose. A shared digital calendar is best for reminders and changes on the move; a printed weekly planner is better for a visible household overview, brainstorming and focused desk work.

If your family wants a shared iPhone and iCloud calendar that parents can manage, MacGeni can help set it up safely across your Apple devices.

Frequently asked questions

Are the PDFs really free?

Yes. You may print them for your own household, school or office use. Please link to this article instead of uploading the PDF elsewhere.

Do the planners contain a year?

No. Both are intentionally year-independent, so the same design works every week and every year.

What paper size should I use?

They are designed for A4 paper in landscape orientation.

Can I edit the PDF on a computer?

The PDFs are designed primarily for printing and handwriting; they are not fillable form PDFs.

A planner only helps when you actually look at it. Put it where the week happens — on your desk, noticeboard or fridge.
